On Friday, May 29, in spite of the fact that a large crowd had formed and was dancing up and down the block, city bi-law officers came to shut Ben down on the basis of the a new, "no amplification" rule on busking permits this year.Check out the links below to see Ben (and other local musicians) interviewed about the controversy over amplification rules, which shows no sign of blowing over.
